If you want to rent a kayak, but don't want to haul it on your rental car- Just park and pick of your kayak at our Concession Stand on the beach and you are in the ocean. No hauling your kayak on the top of your rental car. If you plan to camp, rent and enjoy a kayak for a few hours the next day or for the duration of your stay. Kayak beautiful Ka'uhako Bay, enjoy a spectacular coastline and experience our near shore reefs and fishes. We make it easy for you.
The Peekaboo Kayak has a large viewing window in the middle of the kayak enabling paddlers to see and enjoy the sea life in Ka'uhako Bay while still remaining comfortable and dry in the kayak. The Peekaboo is designed with a small jump seat in the front for children or any extra passenger weighing up to 90 lbs.
The Tandem Kayak comfortably fits two people and has fishing rod holders. Kayaks are available for pick up/drop off Monday to Sunday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Only full day rentals can be reserved online. Half day rentals are available at the beach Concession stand daily on a first come, first served basis. Kayak rentals must be returned by 4 p.m. A late fee of $50 will be charged or you may lose your deposit if the rental is not returned by 4 p.m. Click here to review our Kayak Liability Form. You will be required to sign this form when you pick up your kayak. Please note that you must be 18 years or older to rent a kayak. Children must be 5 years or older to accompany you on the kayak. You are required to rent the Tandem kayak if a child is accompanying you. Children ages 13 years and up can use a Single Kayak if accompanied by an adult on a kayak.
